Dr. Andrea Johnson Davis, DPT

Andrea Johnson recently completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Misericordia University in Dallas, PA, after having previously earned her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree also at Misericordia. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) belonging to both the Orthopedic and Private Practice sections, and is listed on their website as a mentor for Women in Private Practice. She is a Board Certified Physical Therapist by the State of New Jersey with over 10 years of experience behind her.

Andrea is a dedicated clinician and educator with a focus in orthopedics and a special interest in sports medicine and the rehabilitation of athletes of all ages. She has presented at sports conferences on the topic of PFS (patellofemoral syndrome) and its effects on female athletes. She received the Virtua Award for Clinical Excellence in 2004. Andrea participates in several youth/athletic/education programs. She has served as a volunteer physical therapist at both Shawnee and Camden Catholic High Schools in the Athletic Training Department and has also held the position of Assistant Coach/Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for a Div I University Women's Softball program.

At STAR Physical Therapy, Andrea serves as the Clinical Director for Health and Wellness programs which include: Personal Training, the Transitional Gym Program and Sports Specific Training programs.

Andrea resides in Medford, NJ. with her husband Richard and two children. She is a graduate of Camden Catholic HS in Cherry Hill, NJ. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.
