Mark Kitz, DPT

Mark Kitz is the newest addition to STAR's professional staff. Mark earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 2009. During his graduate studies, Mark participated in research studying the effects of exercise on upper extremity overuse injuries. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.

Mark has experience treating patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic and cardiopulmonary diagnoses. He believes in a proactive approach to addressing his patient's needs as well as providing comprehensive hands-on care. Mark recognizes the importance of working closely with family members, physicians and other members of the rehabilitation team to promote optimal patient outcomes. He is also an advocate for utilizing current research to guide and enhance clinical practice.

Mark lives in Tabernacle Township with his wife, Kristen and their son, Tyler. Outside of work he enjoys getting outdoors, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
